"The Toughest Challenge Facing Our Children Today And What You Can Do About It"

There Are So Many NEGATIVE INFLUENCES That Confront Our Children Every Day. The Images Of SEX, DRUGS, AND VIOLENCE Bombard Their Senses Through Music, Television, And Print Media Daily.

Is it any wonder that many children’s self-esteem & self
worth is at such an all-time low?

You can teach a child to "Just Say No" to drugs or bullying, but when it comes down to crunch time, when they are faced with peer pressure and peer influence, it’s their feelings about themselves that are going to determine whether they make the right decision, don’t you agree?

Fortunately, there is something you can do to help raise our children's self-esteem, feelings of self-worth, and their belief in themselves. At this web page you will find out how.

My popular program, "I Like Me! The Magic of Respect", is designed to help children raise their self-esteem and belief in themselves. High self-esteem is, of course, necessary for success now and later in life.

"...This was the best magician assembly I have seen in 18 years!"
-Jane Roche, Teacher, West Kingston Elementary, S. Kingstown, RI

HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS:

"I Like Me! The Magic of Respect" is 45 minutes in length and is excellent for pre-K through fourth grade. Through magic, puppetry, storytelling, and role-playing, children will learn three important life-changing messages. By combining entertainment with education, students are very receptive to these ideas and take them to heart. It makes sense, doesn’t it?

"Performer had great energy / kept kids interested"
-Carrie Brum, Grade 2 teacher at Healy School in Fall River, MA

THREE IMPORTANT BELIEFS THAT CHILDREN MUST ADOPT
IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL. PERIOD.

  1. It’s not what you look like on the outside that matters, it’s who you are on the inside that counts.

Children are "hammered" with the importance of looks through media and advertising. In school, it’s even worse. Kids are picked on because they’re too tall or too short, too skinny or too fat. They’re made fun of if they don’t wear the "right" clothes.

It’s vital that children learn that looks are superficial and that it’s not what you look like, but rather the kind of person you are that makes the difference.

  2. Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t. You’re right.

Napoleon Hill said, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive, he can achieve." This is true, isn’t it? Yet, the sad truth is, many kids are told daily that they can’t or won’t succeed. That they are dumb. That they "never do anything right".

"I Like Me! The Magic of Respect" will plant the seeds of confidence in children and help them to believe in themselves. It teaches to "never give up" in spite of setbacks.

  3. Self-respect is earned by respecting others.

Children sometimes think that good self-esteem is thinking they are better than everyone else. It is believed that bullies put down others to lift their own feelings of self-worth.

The truth is, respect goes both ways. The "I Like Me!" program teaches ACCEPTANCE of others. It explains that everyone has his or her strengths and weaknesses and that we should all be respected and accepted for who we are.

ALL OF THESE THEMES ARE PRESENTED IN AN ENTERTAINING AND FUN WAY SO CHILDREN WILL NOT ONLY REMEMBER THEM, BUT ACT UPON THEM AS WELL.

Honestly now, isn’t it true that if our kids really did adopt these beliefs, they’d be better off and live a happier, more productive life?
